Honoring Presley. Changing the Future of Reading.

Early literacy support, dyslexia awareness, and intervention so every child has the opportunity to read and succeed.

In Memory of Presley

Presley Stine was a bright light, full of joy, laughter, and a spirit that made everyone feel seen and included. She was adventurous, kind, and easygoing, never one for drama, and known for her contagious smile and unforgettable hugs.

She loved animals, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Whether she was swimming, riding horses, biking with friends, or playing percussion in the middle school band, Presley moved through life with curiosity and in her own unique rhythm.

In late elementary school, Presley was diagnosed with dyslexia. Reading had always been a challenge, and, like many children, she struggled in ways that affected her confidence and learning. Because reading is the foundation for all other learning, these challenges can have a tremendous impact without the right support.

After completing the Take Flight Dyslexia Program, Presley’s confidence grew, and her academics soared. With the right support, she began to thrive.

In Presley’s memory, her parents, Dave and Ann, are establishing the Presley Stine Literacy Foundation, focused on early literacy and dyslexia support through screening, intervention, training, advocacy, and education.

The Presley Stine Literacy Foundation is currently in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service and intends to request retroactive recognition to the date of formation. At this time, donations are not tax-deductible. For questions or more information, please send us an email.
